Sipiso-piso waterfall is located in Tongging Village, Merak District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra.

Sipiso-piso waterfall as high as about 120 meters empties into Lake Toba, and is about 800 meters above sea level. Its existence makes this waterfall the highest in Indonesia.

To get to Tongging Village, you need 2 to 3 hours from Medan City or about 1.5 hours from Parapat City.

To go down to the bottom of the waterfall, you have to walk for approximately 30 minutes across stairs and cliffs that are quite steep, steep and challenging adrenaline.

Binangalom Waterfall, the next natural paradise facing Lake Toba

The next tourist area overlooking Lake Toba is the Binangalom waterfall.

The word Binangalom is taken from the words Binanga and Lum or Lom which means flowing water that gives coolness and tranquility. Binangalom Waterfall is located in Lumban Julu District.

To reach it, it takes about 15 minutes from Parapat City by renting a motor boat which costs around Rp. 300 thousand to Rp. 500 thousand.

If you have arrived at this place, do not try to swim under the waterfall, because the current of this waterfall is very strong and it is feared that it can endanger safety.

Pangururan Hot Spring

Hot Springs in Pangururan Village is a tourist destination in Samosir Regency which is most frequently visited by local, domestic and foreign tourists.

The hot water here contains sulfur which is believed to be able to cure various types of diseases outside and inside the body.

When bathing in this hot pool, you will be presented with panoramic views of Lake Toba which stretches widely surrounded by unspoiled hills.

Pusuk Buhit

Pusuk Buhit is a very suitable place for tourists who really love adventure or camping.

The hill which has a height of 1,972 meters above sea level is a favorite place to do various outbound activities.

The time needed to get to this place is about 15 minutes from Pangururan Village and you have to hike through the trail for approximately 4 hours.

In addition, you can also drive a 4-wheeled vehicle but only until the middle, after that you also have to walk for 2 hours.

When you reach the top of the hill, the fatigue while getting there will be paid off by the natural scenery around which is still very natural.

From the top of Pusuk Buhit, you can enjoy views of Lake Toba and its hills from the highest point in the area.

Muara Nauli

Muara Nauli is located in a valley not far from Dolok Sanggul Village, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra.

Uniquely, the water that empties into Lake Toba comes from two very large and fast-flowing rivers that blend together. The two rivers are Aek Silang and Aek Simangira.

Aek Silang comes from a waterfall that spills from the top of the hills and is brown in color because it contains soil.

While Aek Simangira, the color is clear and the sandy bottom covered with river rocks can be seen clearly.

The two rivers are used by residents for all their needs. Well, for you tourists, it is enough to look at its beauty from a height on a hill which is not far from Dolok Sanggul Village.

Bakkara Village

Besides being used as a favorite fishing spot, the village, which is located in Baktiraja District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra, also has springs from the hills which are said to have historically been used as King Sisinga Mangaraja to clean themselves.

Bakara Village also has tourist destinations in the form of beaches and natural tourist charms whose culture is well-known to neighboring countries.
